Where a route starts is not where you have to sleep: this coast is short, and every town here reaches the same roads once you set your own start point. Which town suits you is a different question, and the Costa Blanca guide answers it.
We list a hotel because it holds up for a cyclist, not because it pays us. Every line in the tables below carries its own source, and we say which. Nothing here is a score: a single number would hide whether a fact came from the hotel in writing or from a marketing page.

ESTIMAR Calpe Suitopía is on Avenida Europa and lets suites rather than rooms, which matters when four people share for a week. Its cycling page carries the same facilities list as Solymar down the road, word for word — bike centre, workshop, washing area, laundry — so we wrote to both hotels separately rather than treat one as confirmation of the other. No breakfast time is given, the certification seal is not named, and rental is listed as a recommendation.
Hotel Bahía Calpe sits on Avenida Valencia and belongs to the Pierre & Vacances group. There is a storage room and a workshop; no wash area is mentioned. Four routes are published with their distance and climbing attached — Bernia at 82 km and 1,728 metres, Vall d'Ebo at 138 km and 2,897 — and guided rides are offered. Bike hire is booked through a partner rather than the hotel, laundry and ironing carry a charge, and no breakfast time is given.
Hotel RH Ifach stands on the seafront in Calpe. The bike area is monitored by cameras, the workshop carries basic tools, and there is a separate space for cleaning and preparing bikes. Breakfast runs from 08:00 to 10:30 and the buffet is overseen by sports nutritionists. Trailer parking with water and electricity leads straight into the storage cages, which is why teams use it for pre-season camps — and why there is more room than a couple of riders will use. The hotel claims no cycling certification and says nothing about bike hire.
SOLYMAR Gran Hotel is one of two ESTIMAR properties in Calpe. There is a bike centre with a workshop, a washing area and laundry, and truck parking for team vehicles. Six routes are published as downloadable files, among them Coll de Rates, Cabo de la Nao and Cumbre del Sol. The site shows a certification seal without naming it, gives no breakfast time, does not say whether there is a locked space for bikes, and lists bike rental as a recommendation rather than a service of its own.

Albir Garden Resort & Sports is on the same road as Albir Playa and lets apartments rather than hotel rooms. There is a bike storage room, a mechanic point and a washing point, a gym open around the clock, ice baths in the recovery area, and a medical room with a stretcher. The food is organised around training: a sports diet, picnics, a feed station and a recovery buffet. Bike hire is referred out to a local shop. The resort publishes across three different websites that do not say quite the same thing about its facilities, so we asked which one is current. No breakfast time is given.
Albir Playa Hotel & Spa is at the foot of Serra Gelada, a few minutes off the coast road and quieter than Altea itself. There is a cycling centre with a workshop and a washing area, guided routes, bike hire, and a spa with masseurs. Bike storage is not mentioned anywhere on the site — not on the cycling page and not in the facilities list — which for a hotel that markets itself to cyclists was the first thing we asked about. No breakfast time is given. We work with them directly.
Hotel Cap Negret stands on the N-332 at Altea with the sea on one side and the Bernia ridge behind. Its Bike Zone runs to more than 440 square metres: private boxes, pressure washers, a repair and tools area, a massage clinic, and a laundry with washing machines and dryers. It was the first hotel in Spain to be given the Bike Territory mark by the national cycling federation, and it holds Cycling Friendly Gold. Its own pages disagree on how many boxes there are and how many bikes they hold, so we have asked. No breakfast time is given. We work with them directly.
SH Villa Gadea is a five-star hotel above the Villa Gadea headland at Altea. Its entire cycling offer is a single sentence: a secure space to store bicycles, an equipped workshop for maintenance and repair, and personalised menus. Nothing else on the site mentions bikes — they are absent from the services list, and a wash area, laundry and bike hire are not mentioned. A cycle-tourism seal sits in the footer with no name beside it, and no breakfast time is given.
Large hotels, several of which have built the cycling centre as its own room rather than a corner of the garage. The high-rises are not to everyone's taste; the roads out of the back of town are the same ones everyone else rides.

Dynastic Hotel & Spa is on Avenida L'Ametlla del Mar. The bike room is private, has security hangers, and opens directly onto the guest rooms rather than through the lobby. There is a repair bench with professional tools and pumps, a repair stand and a washing station, and the kitchen does menus for athletes alongside sports massage. The hotel holds a Silver certificate, and five routes are published from the door, among them Coll de Rates and Guadalest. Nothing is said about laundry, bike hire or breakfast times.
Hotel Don Pancho is on Avenida Mediterráneo in Benidorm and holds Cycling Friendly's Gold rating. Breakfast runs from 08:00, opens at 06:00 on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and if you are leaving before eight the front desk will put a tray in your room the night before, ordered by six the previous evening. It is the only hotel we looked at on this coast that has written that down. The site names a cycling centre and bike hire but says nothing about storage, a workshop or a wash area, which is unusual for a gold rating, and nothing about January and February.
Hotel Los Álamos is a short walk back from Levante beach and holds Cycling Friendly Silver. The bike room is closed, open to guests only, and under video surveillance around the clock; there is a wash zone, a tools workshop, a repair stand and an air pump. Physiotherapy, airport transfers and bike hire are offered, and six routes are published from the door, among them La Carrasqueta and Tudons. Laundry and dry cleaning are available. No breakfast time is given.
Hotel Deloix Aqua Center is on Avenida Doctor Severo Ochoa. The bike area has racks with cables and security locks, a workshop with professional tools, a repair stand, an air pump and a washing station. The pools, two of them indoors and heated, are open all year. No certification is claimed. There is no breakfast time, nothing about laundry and nothing about bike hire. Their terms require written permission before their photographs can be republished, so this entry has none.

Denia Marriott La Sella is not in Dénia itself but inland at Jesús Pobre, behind the Montgó, which means a quieter base and a few kilometres of warming up before the coast. The bike centre runs to 100 square metres under 24-hour security, with four independent boxes holding up to twenty bikes each, a washing machine, a laundry area, power points and drinking water. Breakfast opens at 07:00, though the site notes that hours change with the season. Bike hire, guiding, sports testing and nutrition all come from outside partners rather than the resort.
Hotel Daniya Denia has two bike rooms: one of 200 square metres holding around two hundred bikes, and a smaller closed box for ten, which lets a group keep their own without booking out the whole facility. There are tools for basic adjustments, a pressure-wash service, and a laundry that washes and dries technical clothing. Massage for cyclists is offered. The hotel states a Cycling Friendly Silver certification without naming who issues it, gives no breakfast time, and says nothing about bike hire.

Noguera Mar Hotel is in Dénia and shuts for the winter, from 8 December to 5 March — the first thing to know, since almost no hotel in Dénia publishes its dates at all. The bike room is locked and opens with a room key, but only for rooms the hotel has enabled, and it takes fifteen to twenty bikes; it sits on the property rather than inside the building. Breakfast is 08:00 to 10:30 with nothing earlier, and there is no bike wash — the hotel says one is planned. Rental bikes come from outside firms that deliver and collect. Cycling Friendly Bronze, and no pool, which the website says plainly.

Hotel Les Rotes is out along the Les Rotes road past the town, on the rocky shore under the Montgó. Breakfast runs from 08:00 to 11:00 and there is a laundry service for a surcharge. The cycling offer on the site is two words — bicycle hire — with nothing behind it: no storage, no workshop, no wash area. We have written to ask whether that describes the hotel or only the website. Their terms require written permission before their photographs can be republished, so this entry has none.
Flatter and quieter than the rest, at the far north. Only one property here markets itself to cyclists, and we looked hard for a second.
Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort

Oliva Nova is a beach and golf resort at the northern end of this coast, with flat farmland behind it and the sea in front. There is a bike garage and a repair area with tools, and the hire is unusually transparent: road, city and mountain bikes at €26 a day, falling to €22 for a week, with helmet, lock and repair kit included. Guided road and mountain-bike routes are offered. The site carries a Cycling Friendly logo with no text beside it, and mentions no wash area, no laundry and no breakfast time. Their terms prohibit reproducing their photographs, so this entry has none.
Inland, up in the valley behind the coast. Coll de Rates begins on the doorstep, so the day starts on the climb rather than on the way to it.

Castell de la Solana is a small hotel inland at Alcalalí, with Coll de Rates four kilometres from the door and road, gravel and mountain riding from the same start. The website answers what a rider asks before booking — storage, tools, washing, laundry — rather than leaving it to be guessed. A guide can be hired and bikes come through a local rental firm. Breakfast is described as being put together for cyclists but no time is given, and the site says nothing about January and February — which for somewhere inland is the thing readers will assume the worst about.

October to April. Calpe and the surrounding area attracts professional teams during winter training camps — temperatures are 12–18°C and roads are dry.

Coll de Rates is the most famous and most-ridden, and an excellent climb. But my personal favourite is Port de Tudons — longer, more sustained, and quieter. Cumbre del Sol is the underrated pick if you want something short and savage with a spectacular summit view.
How does Costa Blanca cycling compare to Mallorca?
Costa Blanca offers a broader season window (February to November is comfortable) and more variety in climb length and gradient. Mallorca offers a more concentrated cycling culture and the Tramuntana classics. Many cyclists do both — Costa Blanca for a longer, lower-key week, Mallorca for the bucket-list climbs.
